DinnerBell ("the App") is developed by Dash Labs ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Almost nothing. DinnerBell is designed to be privacy-first.
When you generate a meal plan, your preferences (family size, budget, dietary needs) are sent to our Cloudflare Worker proxy, which forwards the request to Google's Gemini AI. The AI generates your plan and returns it. We do not store the request or response.
Google's Gemini API has its own terms of service. Data sent to Gemini for generation is not used by Google to train models (per their API terms).
Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or have access to your payment information.
All meal plans, grocery lists, and preferences are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. We cannot access, read, or recover this data. If you delete the app, your data is permanently deleted.
DinnerBell does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app does not require an account and collects no personal information.
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with an updated date.
